Baseball

The other morning I went out for a walk, I'm at a friend's so the whole area is new to me. It wasn't cold or wet, the sun was out and it was just pleasant.

I came across a park, a nice place with a baseball game in progress.

 Little league was playing and the kid's families were around watching, rooting and giving encouragement to 'their' side. My first thought was "it's a little early" for little league, it's still February & not even 9am on a Sunday, but ok.
I stopped and watched for awhile because baseball is...well ... baseball. The only thing missing was a concession selling coffee, it was early enough for that but I was out of luck.

 There was a playground too.

There was also soccer going on an adjacent field, like I said a nice park.

A nice day, a nice walk & a baseball game. Good enough!

On the road...

After 49 days at Camp Murray the RV started and moved out today. Made it down to Vancouver Washington.

Once again gas prices and 6 mpg set the terms for travel.

And for something really different I don't have a destination in mind, just someplace I can wear shorts.

How long does it take?

My tax return came in ("my" government saving program) and I bought a pair of Levi 501 jeans with the button down fly.

 It had been a lot of years since I had a new pair of 501, after a day of wearing them I have a question.

Remember that old Tootsie Roll Pop commercial about 'how many licks does it take to get to the center of a tootsie roll pop?'

My question is along those lines... how many times does it take for the buttons to loosen up when you have to go to the bathroom?
